NHS Pricing Bands
Treatment Band 1
This covers an examination, diagnosis (e.g. x-rays) advice on how to prevent future problems, and a scale and polish if needed. Urgent treatment, when you need to see a dentist immediately, also costs £25.80.

This covers everything listed in Band 1, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Book an appointment
We do not offer free consultations for NHS treatment. You will simply book a routine checkup, and this will be charged as a band 1 treatment. If you require further treatment, this cost could increase.

Your treatment plan
We will discuss your treatment plan and explore finance options. If you choose NHS care, you will have to pay one of the three treatment bands. There may be limitations on the treatment and the materials used.

Aftercare
We'll support you to take care of your oral health by reminding you to attend regular checkups. If you do not attend the practice for a long time, you may lose your spot on your NHS patient list. This is to ensure we can make space for patients that need treatment.

Can I get free dental treatment on the NHS?

Some people are eligible for free dental treatment on the NHS. You will need to be:

  • Under 18, or under 19 and in full-time education
  • Pregnant, or have had a baby in the last 12 months
  • Being treated in an NHS hospital and your treatment is carried out by the hospital dentist
  • In receipt of certain low income benefits, such as income support or pension credit
Why is it hard to find an NHS dentist?

There is a lot of demand for NHS dentistry at the moment as a result of backlogs from the Covid-19 pandemic. There are also fewer NHS dentists than ever before, which means that some patients are struggling to register with a dentist. The best thing to do once you are registered with an NHS dentist is to attend regular checkups so you can remain on their list.

Can I mix private and NHS dental treatment?

Yes, it is certainly possible to mix private and NHS care. Many patients like to opt for NHS care to maintain their oral health and supplement this with private care for cosmetic treatments like teeth whitening.

What is the difference between an NHS dentist and a private dentist?

The receptionist are liars. They think we patients are stupid clearly lying to my face. They so greedy to sell this invisalign product they don't care about the normal customers. When I first joined this place it was great customer service now I believe the receptionist rude and lying scums....

The customer service here is so amazing, every time we attend the staff make us feel welcome, they smile and give us a warm greeting which makes such a big difference to our experience. My wife had months of treatment after child birth, the dentist are always kind, patient and caring. They helped her through the trauma of losing teeth and I could be more thankful for the gentle way she was cared for. Hats off to all the staff for their wonderful service, especially the receptionist Nillar who always goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Dentist appointment aren’t usually enjoyable but these guys have raised the bar and we look forward to every single visit. I couldn’t recommend this dental practice enough....

Hygienist Farzana who joined the practice four months ago is wonderful! I was anxious considering my not very pleasant experience with the hygienist who worked here earlier, but Farzana is very gentle and considerate of any tooth sensitivity.
