Veneers treatment plan

Veneers are typically placed over two visits. During the first visit, we will take impressions and scans and send this information to the laboratory that will be designing your smile. When your bespoke veneer is ready, you will return to the practice and we will prepare your teeth.

We carry out minimal preparation on natural teeth to ensure they remain healthy. We then use a special dental cement to fix the veneer in place. you might have some sensitivity in the days following treatment as you get used to the veneer being in your mouth. We will give you full aftercare guidance so you can care for your veneer at home.

Principal Dentist - IMPLANT SURGEON AND COSMETIC DENTISTRY - BDS Lond 2001 Dip Implant Dent UCLan Zahid Chowdhry graduated from Guys’ and St. Thomas’s dental hospitals in 2001. Since then, he has been in general practice serving the community with a high level of dentistry. He has also been involved in teaching dentists and so has maintained a high level of skill as well as being up to date with cutting edge dental techniques. In 2009 he was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the University of Central Lancashire and he has been providing dental implants since. Due to his success and high standards of work, he is now the lead implantologist in a number of surgeries around the country.

Can I get free veneers on the NHS?

No, veneer treatment is not available on the NHS as this is a cosmetic treatment. To help make this treatment option more accessible and affordable, we offer interest free credit payment plans so you can spread the cost of treatment.

Should I get veneers overseas?

We know that cheap veneers can be advertised if you go overseas for treatment. We wouldn’t recommend this option as you might not have access to expert care, and if something goes wrong you will have no legal protection.

Are veneers noticeable?

Veneers can transform your smile quite dramatically, so those that know you well will know you’ve changed something. But veneers are also designed to look just like your natural teeth, so it won’t be obvious that you are wearing veneers to others around you.

How much does it cost to get veneers in the UK?

Our veneers start at £450, but the final price will depend on the number of teeth you would like to cover and your choice of materials. Porcelain veneers are the most expensive and composite veneers are the cheapest.

Your veneer treatment journey will take place over multiple visits. We will typically prepare your teeth and then take impressions. These are sent to a lab where your veneer will be created. When you return to the practice, we fix this in place permanently.

Aftercare
We'll give you detailed aftercare support to help you care for your veneer at home. You might have some sensitivity in the days following the treatment, but this should quickly pass. You may need to avoid certain food and habits to help protect your veneer.
