Who is an ideal candidate for composite bonding?

To be a successful candidate for composite bonding, you should have good overall oral health. If you have any issues with your oral health, such as tooth decay or gum disease, we should address these issues first. You will also need to have a treatable case. This could include chips and cracks, an asymmetrical smile, gaps or crooked teeth and discolouration.

If composite bonding would not be a suitable treatment option for you, we can explore alternatives, such as orthodontics or veneers. If you are thinking about teeth whitening, you should complete these before composite bonding so we can match the resin colour to your natural teeth after whitening.

Principal Dentist - IMPLANT SURGEON AND COSMETIC DENTISTRY - BDS Lond 2001 Dip Implant Dent UCLan Zahid Chowdhry graduated from Guys’ and St. Thomas’s dental hospitals in 2001. Since then, he has been in general practice serving the community with a high level of dentistry. He has also been involved in teaching dentists and so has maintained a high level of skill as well as being up to date with cutting edge dental techniques. In 2009 he was awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the University of Central Lancashire and he has been providing dental implants since. Due to his success and high standards of work, he is now the lead implantologist in a number of surgeries around the country.

Is dental bonding noticeable?

You will have a noticeable transformation, but the composite resin should not be obvious to the casual viewer. The results are very natural looking and the composite resin looks a lot like natural tooth material.

Am I too old for composite bonding?

There is no upper age limit for composite bonding. All that we ask is that you have realistic expectations for what can be achieved, and that you have good overall oral health.

Do they shave your teeth for composite bonding?

No, the teeth are minimally prepared for composite bonding, and no dental material is removed. This makes it a less invasive procedure than some alternatives.

How long does composite bonding last?

Most composite bonding restorations need to be replaced or renewed after 5 years. The material should wear down evenly, rather than fall off completely. You can replace it with further composite bonding, or choose another restoration like veneers.

The receptionist are liars. They think we patients are stupid clearly lying to my face. They so greedy to sell this invisalign product they don't care about the normal customers. When I first joined this place it was great customer service now I believe the receptionist rude and lying scums....

The customer service here is so amazing, every time we attend the staff make us feel welcome, they smile and give us a warm greeting which makes such a big difference to our experience. My wife had months of treatment after child birth, the dentist are always kind, patient and caring. They helped her through the trauma of losing teeth and I could be more thankful for the gentle way she was cared for. Hats off to all the staff for their wonderful service, especially the receptionist Nillar who always goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Dentist appointment aren’t usually enjoyable but these guys have raised the bar and we look forward to every single visit. I couldn’t recommend this dental practice enough....

Hygienist Farzana who joined the practice four months ago is wonderful! I was anxious considering my not very pleasant experience with the hygienist who worked here earlier, but Farzana is very gentle and considerate of any tooth sensitivity. She takes her time and doesn’t rush through the appointment. Hope she’ll stay here longer at this dental practice!...
