If you’re in pain due to a dental emergency, we encourage you to book an emergency dental appointment rather than waiting for the pain to pass. Dental pain doesn’t go away on its own, and if it does, it often means that the issue is getting worse. At the first sign of dental pain, you should seek out an emergency dentist to diagnose the problem and create a treatment plan.
In many cases, you will need to book a follow-up appointment to arrange further care. The purpose of the emergency appointment is to prevent the issue from escalating, and to stop you from being in pain. We will then invite you for a follow-up appointment to address the underlying issue.
